Preferred Sales is a rep firm whose history dates back over 45 years in this market.
1962 – Established as a Columbus based firm with Ed Snell as owner
1978 – Purchased by Pete Lewnes, Tom Poole and Jerry Cameron
1985 – Moved headquarters from Columbus, OH to Hermitage, PA and opened 25,000 square foot warehouse
1992 – 7,000 square foot office addition
2000 – Acquisition of several small to mid-sized rep firms, two owner buyouts
2009 – Layered approach to business encompassing associates in the 40’s, 30’s, and 20’s as well as experienced salespeople. We now have 12 outside salespeople, including 3 females
